The Staff Engineer position in Marketing/Sales Management exists in order to monitor the performances of Business Divisions including Sales, Marketing, Distribution, and other business operations, and assist each Business Division to improve its performance in the most efficient and effective manner, by reducing costs and maximizing Company profit. This position also acts as a major coordinator among Business Divisions and Service Departments, and also between FPCUSA and FPC Taiwan by providing effective comminication and preparing various management reports for Top Management review and decision making. |

III. QUALIFICATIONS A. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA (Minimal Technical Requirements) |

Preferable 1-3 years working experience in chemical/plastics Industry. |
|||
|
|||
MS Office skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., excellent mathematical skills, |
|||
and/or engineering quantitative analysis skills. |
|||
|
|||
Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred, |
|||
|
|||
Knowledge |
|||
Continual development as required such as: Standard Operating Procedure, Master |
|||
Training Plan, Legal and Ethical Training, and other internal and external training as |
|||
planned, developed, and prescribed. |

excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese . |

Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular |

IV. INDIVIDUAL SPECIFIC JOB TASKS (Recurring actions, tasks and process that support and/or are needed to achieve Major Areas of Accountability. 7.Identify and resolve marketing/shipping related problems by generating/coordinating improvement projects to improve efficiency and save costs. 8.Review Sales Contracts and propose for contract terms modification where necessary to maximize profit. 9.Review Business Divisions Selling Expense Budget to ensure that it is realistic and under control. 10. Coordinate with business divisions for the sales planning and business strategy. 11.Prepare Monthly Closing Profit/Loss explanations to top management. 12.Calculate On-Time Shipment performance and Production Cost Benchmark for Business Scorecard as well as Business Group Performance Reward Program use. 13.Perform Railcar Loading Weight Analysis to improve the loading performance. 14.Prepare the data of 'Loaded Railcar Held in Plant/ SIT Site for over 90 days' for PO Business Division to monitor the slow moving cars at plant and SIT sites. 15.Prepare Monthly Performance Report for Marketing/ Sales Mgmt including improvement projects and major activities. 16.Prepare certain recommendation reports and staff comment reports for the department/ division. 17.Collect required data using AS/400 Query function or Powerplay Datawarehouse for department manager’s further analysis.
