Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.

I. POSITION OBJECTIVE 
This position will supervise and coordinate various aspects of the PP-1 Process. The PSM Coordinator/Staff position increases productivity and adds value by integrating plant assets, personnel, technology, energy, effective maintenance, instrumentation, production, raw material handling and material flow processes, while sustaining a safe and healthful working environment that meets environmental, health and safety regulatory and Company requirements.

II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY 
OPERATIONS SUPPORT: Provide regulatory support to the Operating Units which will enable the Unit to achieve smooth operation, manufacture high-quality products, and avoid unscheduled process interruptions. This will be achieved by interacting with the various process units to determine environmental needs, regulatory interpretation, and implementation in the form of policies and procedures and responding to incidents as they occur to identify potential environmental issues/impacts

PSM: Take the lead to make sure PSM compliance is maintained in PP1. Use experience to work with GMO PSM Coordinator to assure the implementation of PSM procedures is implemented in the most advantageous way to the unit, while still meeting Corporate and Site PSM requirements. Incident Investigation: Participate and/or take lead in all incident investigations that happen in PP1. Ensure all incident corrective actions are completed and incident reports are complete.

Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all employees in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assure compliance with all company safety, health, and security programs and practices. Provide management and leadership with timely and thorough reporting of all incidents to ensure all incidents are investigated properly. Take personal responsibility and ownership for safety, including bringing the attitude that “I am individually responsible for safety” to the job each and every day. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure PP1 is in compliance with all FPCTX process safety/risk management procedures. Also need to ensure PP1 is compliant with all API and OSHA procedures. Also help prepare any reports related to compliance of regulatory procedures.

THM: Promote cleanliness and order through the implementation of the Total House Keeping Maintenance program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant in like new condition.

III. QUALIFICATIONS
A.TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA 
1. Previous Related Experience Required
10 years’ of experience managing regulatory based programs and/or implementing PSM and Risk Management Programs in either industrial, refinery or petro-chemical facilities dependent upon education. 5 years of Polyolefins operations preferred.

2. Technical Skills Required To Perform This Job
Be familiar with General Chemistry, Microsoft Office Suite, Trouble shooting, Basic computer skills, knowledge of PSM requirements. Ability to read P&ID’s. Familiar with operations, Advance Mathematics

3. Education 
High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of direct job-related experience required. Associate’s degree with 8 years of direct job-related experience. Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of direct job-related experience.

4. Other Certification/Training Required To Gain Function-Related Technical Knowledge
•Will require training in Company Policies and Procedures after hire.
•Current employees must meet all technical and safety training requirements for current position, as specified in the Master Training Plan.
