Position Summary

Will be trained to operate heading machines of various types and sizes.  The training will include the    set-up, operation and routine machine maintenance.  The Machine Operator will be required to follow all Quality standards and maintain production requirements. 

Responsibilities 

• Set-up, adjust, and operate equipment as trained in a safe manner. 
• Read and understand blue prints
• Properly use gages and other quality tools to ensure production of good parts.
• Perform first piece inspections, monitor the quality of all parts, and make adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Perform minor preventive maintenance, complete all required tracking documents
• Work with tooling and maintenance personnel to maximize production efficiencies
• Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/IATF 16949 documentation.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Ability to perform basic math
• Good mechanical aptitude
• HSD/GED or equivalent experience
• Previous machine operation a plus
• Previous Heading experience preferred
