Walkie Operator - Aurora Ontario
 
42 hours per week - Full time job:

 

Morning Shift weekdays : Monday to Wednesday : 12 hours shift - 7am to 7:30pm

Night Shift weekdays : Monday to Wednesday : 12 hours shift - 7pm to 7:30am

Morning Shift weekends : Friday to Sunday : 12 hours shift 7am to 7:30pm

Night Shift weekends : Friday to Sunday : 12 hours shift 7pm to 7:30am

Thursday : 6 hours shift

What you’ll do day-to-day:

• Operate equipment in a manner consistent with Flow’s Health and Safety policies.
• Able to operate Walkie is a must and Forklift experience is desired.
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to receive, check, count inventory, verify, sort and classify materials and equipment by stock number, condition and other classifications and note them down in relevant logs. 
• Wrapping loads with a shrink wrapper, loading goods onto and off a truck
• Perform order picking which involves lifting and re-palletizing the products.
• Unpack cartons and boxes to check the material and then again seal them.
• Compare data against the documents given by the management and note irregularities if any.
• Prepare product for shipment ensuring accuracy, efficiency and customer service standards are met. 
• Provide quality service to the client by ensuring inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion and handles fragile items with care.
• Maintain a clean and secure work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
 

Your qualifications:

  • Valid walkie license is a MUST
  • Minimum one year walkie experience a must.
  • Manufacturing related experience.
  • Very good communication skills and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to cover for different shifts as needed.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing practices.
  • This job is full time, applicant must be able to work full time on work permit or PR.
  • Other tasks as assigned
