Role Overview:

The Product Manager for Workplace at Eptura is a dynamic, multifaceted role responsible for driving the evolution and success of our mature, world-class Workplace product and will report directly to the Sr. Director of Product.

This position demands a proactive, forward-thinking individual who can quickly adapt to new challenges, communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation and skilled in leading cross-functional squads to achieve key objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of a key part of the workplace experience solution within the Eptura ecosystem.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a leading Workplace worktech solution
    • Quickly grasp Eptura's Workplace solution, become an expert in the value it provides to our customer base and market. Become fluent in the problems we solve
    • Develop a deep understanding of Eptura's product ecosystem interface points, identify opportunities for integration and synergy
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings, translating insights into product strategy
  • Squad Leadership and Alignment
    • Work within a cross-functional squad, aligning team members around shared objectives and key initiatives
    • Steer the squad towards success by setting clear priorities, removing obstacles, and fostering a collaborative environment
    • Facilitate effective communication within the squad and between the squad and other parts of the organization
    • Direct the day to day activities of the Product Business Analyst to support the work of the team
  • Strategic Product Management
    • Develop and execute the product strategy for the heritage Workplace solution, aligning closely with executive leadership and Eptura's overall business goals
    • Create and maintain a clear product roadmap, balancing short-term tactical needs with long-term strategic objectives
    • Actively engage with stakeholders across the organisation to gather insights and drive product vision
  • Driving Innovation
    • Stay abreast of emerging trends and identify opportunities to leverage these technologies to enhance product capabilities
    • Collaborate with technical and UX teams to develop features that excite and provide tangible value to customers
    • Champion the integration of innovative technologies into the Workplace solution
  • Cross-Functional Communication and Collaboration
    • Serve as the central point of communication between various departments, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing
    • Articulate product vision, roadmap, and progress clearly to diverse audiences, adapting communication style as needed
    • Foster a culture of openness and transparency, breaking down silos between teams
  • Customer-Centric Approach
    • Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, pain points, and desired outcomes
    • Translate customer insights into product requirements and specifications
    • Use data analysis and customer feedback to inform product decisions and measure success
  • Agile Product Development
    • Implement and refine agile processes, including story writing, backlog management, and sprint planning
    • Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams throughout the product development lifecycle
    • Make data-driven decisions to prioritize features and maximize value delivery

 

 

About you:

  • Proven experience in product management in the software or technology sector
  • Proven experience with the SDLC process in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Prior experience with APIs, webhooks, Java based platforms, web services, mobile solutions and calendaring systems is preferred
  • An extremely high comfort level for ambiguity, creating clarity from areas of grey and prioritisation of competing priorities conflicting inputs, internal and external
  • Strong aptitude for learning new concepts, technologies, and business processes quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the organisation
  • Proactive, self-motivated attitude with a willingness to take ownership of projects and outcomes
  • Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex information
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product development processes
  • Passion for and experience with innovative technologies, particularly AI and its applications in software products
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and align cross-functional teams towards shared objectives
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced technical degree a plus
