Maintenance Supervisor & MRO Buyer (1st Shift)

Ridgewood is a subdivision of Ameriwood Home, a division of the Dorel Home segment of Dorel Industries, who specializes in domestically manufactured and imported RTA furniture sold through the brick & mortar sales channel throughout the United States and Canada.  Cornwall facility, we are searching for a:

MRO BUYER

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Purchasing Staff is responsible for managing the procurement process for the maintenance department, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing of necessary supplies and equipment. This role involves inventory management, order processing, and various administrative tasks to support the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchasing: Procure supplies and equipment for the maintenance department, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and reorder supplies as needed.
• Order Processing: Receive and put away orders, ensuring items are stored correctly and safely.
• Purchase Orders (POs): Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Administrative Support: Perform other tasks and duties as assigned to support the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge: Familiarity with maintenance department operations and procedures.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer systems and software for inventory and order management.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:
