Area HVAC Technician
Driftwood Hospitality is looking for a superstar HVAC Technician to oversee the HVAC operations at our Dallas and Houston locations!
Qualifications
5+ years Commercial / Industrial HVAC/R systems including boilers, chillers and associated equipment is required
A valid Driver’s License is required and (EPA) Universal Refrigerant Certificate is required.
Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing the highly skilled, discipline specific, tasks required to ensure the smooth operation of Driftwood Hospitality Facilities as it pertains to all industrial, commercial and non-commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
•Perform service on heating, air conditioning, ventilation, supply/exhaust fans, pumps, valves, piping and associated controls and accessories.
•Handle urgent service calls including troubleshooting and repairs
•Troubleshoot, maintain, repair or replace all HVACR mechanical components
•Interface, communicate and oversee with third party contractors/vendors with infrastructure repairs, upgrades, repair or replacement of HVAC/R equipment
•Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems as planned out using SP2 and
Performs other duties as assigned.
•Perform advanced tasks in the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installation of refrigeration, heating, air conditioning and ventilation, and related systems and controls, including:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for duration of shift.
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions and be able to stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb on all types of surfaces.
- Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders at a rapid pace, up to 30 feet in the air.
- Grasping, lifting and holding tools and having good finger dexterity is required.
- Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and walking significant distances between and within buildings on the property.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 100 pounds.
- Frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
