Technical Trainer
The Technical Trainer is responsible for conducting classes whether in person or interactive online. Their goal is to educate and empower customers to be successful with Crestron Technology. They must stay current on assigned Crestron Technology to work towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The Technical Trainer will also work closely with peers to give critical feedback on course materials.
This position is a hybrid position requiring to be onsite three days a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for teaching foundational technical training courses in Instructor Led Training (ILT) or Interactive Online Training (IOLT) classroom styles
- Prepare training room and or interactive online training spaces and related resources prior to the start of each class
- Knowledge and expertise in working with exams questions as well as grading student exams
- Work closely with curriculum developers to ensure courses are meeting the needs of the students
- Support and work at Crestron Seminars, Crestron Trade Shows, and Crestron Training Masters events
- Familiar with professional training techniques for adult learners
- Other duties or responsibilities as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Industry or vendor certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, or I, MCSE, CCNA
- 2 years in audio, video, informational design/integration, rental & staging, or related industry
- 2 years working with Crestron systems
- 1 year of technical training experience
- Highly organized to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, yet flexible enough to respond quickly to critical issues

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Estimated 10% travel per year
- Goals 90% of time on course training and 10% of time on continued education and content development

Per applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($47,000 - $76,000) which consists of base salary (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates. Also note, an individual’s offer may vary from this range as it may be impacted by additional factors, including but not limited to the candidate's hiring location, qualifications, experience, and market factors.
