Warehouse Manager
Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, fleet operations and maintaining a safe and clean facility. In addition, this role involves purchasing responsibilities and RMA ensuring that materials, equipment, and inventory are sourced effectively to support business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management, purchasing and collaboration with cross-functional staff even without direct supervision. The focus on accuracy, safety, and operational efficiency will make the candidate successful in this role.
Essential Functions
- Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth receiving, storage and distribution of materials and equipment for projects and service operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse facility, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Monitor inventory flow through the warehouse to ensure accurate receiving, shipping, and inventory management
- Manage fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance and preventative upkeep
- Collaborate with back-office and operations’ teams to evaluate and source materials, equipment and vehicles
- Assist in purchasing decisions for stock items, ensuring alignment with project and customer requirements, and influencing decisions on inventory additions or deletions.
- Lead the return goods process, ensuring prompt handling of returnable items, minimizing return charges, and ensuring proper credit is applied.
- Investigate and follow up on any warehouse errors, accidents, or issues, providing reports and corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct physical inventories and assist with any necessary reconciliation between book and physical inventory.
- Maintain high safety standards across warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience, with direct supervision of staff required
- Knowledge of physical security systems, network devices
- Experience in purchasing and procurement of warehouse-related materials is a plus
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work comfortably on ladders and lifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional service
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools, and knowledgeable in electrical circuitry and blueprint reading
- Current and valid US driver’s license
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Must be professional and polished in appearance and be comfortable speaking to customers

Work Environment This job operates primarily in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require business travel. |
