SUMMARY:
Responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive production schedule, ensuring efficient operations by coordinating all aspects of production, including capacity, materials, and delivery deadlines, while collaborating with different departments to maintain smooth workflow and meet customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create detailed project plans considering factors like capacity constraints, material availability, labor requirements, and customer delivery dates.
- Work closely with sales, purchasing, production teams, and other departments to gather data, understand demand, and ensure alignment with the master schedule.
- Analyze production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.
- Regularly monitor project progress against the schedule, identifying deviations and taking corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Identify potential risks that could impact the project and develop mitigation plans.
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility on project plan status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously evaluate and refine scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years).
- Previous Master Scheduler experience.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Direct work experience in project management/demand planning capacity.
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management.
- Proficient in project management software.
