We are seeking a dedicated NDT Inspector Level 2 to join our team. If you are committed to quality, integrity, and innovation, and have a customer-focused attitude, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret component conditions using Computed Radiography Inspection (CR) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Level 1 certification trainees
- Interpret and apply relevant codes, standards, and specification
- Commit to quality assurance and maintain high production standards
- Ensure general department cleanliness and organization
- Accurately document operations performed on travelers
- Perform Level 2 functions in accordance with NAS410 standards
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- Promote and adhere to the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
- Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM, ISO quality requirements, and NADCAP standards
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment manuals
- Understanding and interpreting work in-process documents
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong ownership and accountability
- Excellent team-building skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in an FAA repair station
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Documented classroom hours as required by NAS410
- Documented OJT hours or equivalent as required by NAS410
- Experience in aerospace maintenance or a related field
