EHS Intern Essential Functions/Duties
- Assist with noise dosimetry, hearing testing scheduling, fire extinguisher inspections, eye was inspections, AED inspections, and entering data for hazard identifications
- Learn and understand Brady LOTO Software, objectives, process, and verification of the individual templates to update and maintain OSHA compliance
- Work closely with EHS, Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability Engineers to review, update and verify individual templates
- Coordination of the verification process with subject matter experts for developed templates
- Create QR codes to be posted on the equipment that link to individual templates
Required Experience/Skills
- Pursuing a degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health, or relatable field with interest in EHS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to stand and/or walk up to 4 hours per day
- Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 35 pounds
Internship details – This internship is for 8 weeks. You can have up to 24 hours per week, 4 days per week.
