Video: What We Do
The Engine Technical Representative is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance of Chromalloy Assets at third party MRO shops. Additionally, this individual must be able to manage the cost of engines through inventory allocation and work scope development and management.
Job Duties:
- Develop and maintain key relationships within MRO shops and customers.
- Manage engine parts supply chain to support the need of the Shop visits.
- Ensure all required maintenance and preventative maintenance is being performed in accordance with all company, airline and FAA regulations.
- Maintain financial tracking records to ensure materials supplied meet internal cost requirements.
- Perform financial profitability analysis of each engine and/or program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Aviation, Business or FAA Certification is preferred.
- 2+ years of progressive experience with any combination of IAE V2500, CFMI CFM56-5B/7B, or G.E. CF6-80C2 aircraft engines and engine maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of engine disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly and test processes
- Previous experience interpreting and understanding OEM Technical Manuals, inspection limits, service bulletins and FAA Airworthiness Directives.
- Intermediate level experience using MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office products.
- Must be able to travel up to 35%.
