Position: Marketing/ Social Media Coordinator

Location: Houston, TX or Baton Rouge, LA

Position Summary:

Our Marketing/ Social Media Coordinator will create content and manage social media accounts for CAM. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to ideate and create social content, including social content writing and overseeing development/ execution of corresponding video, graphics, images etc. This role will be the primary executor of social media content across all social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning, creating, and managing the day-to-day content on all CAM owned social media channels, including but not limited to: Facebook, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, etc. Consider additional platforms of engagement for CAM.
• Develop written and visual content such as blog posts, newsletters, and video snippets that resonate with our target audience
• Work with and solicit content from our sites on a regular basis
• Create “social campaigns” i.e.  focus on safety, our people, our communities, our tech etc.
• Track, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
• Coordinate CAM website updates
• Manage our events:
  • Plan attendance/registrations etc.
  • Organize CAM folks, supplies etc.
  • Attend events to help set up/take down, engage customers etc.
• Work in-house marketing materials and communications
• Support proposal efforts where possible to include building out customer presentations, where possible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Creative, energetic, and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work against deadlines.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills - can interact well with all organizational levels internally and externally.
• Social media management experience preferred.
• Experience in photo editing and fundamental design tasks/ activities
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in Graphic Design, photoshop and video editing a plus but not required.
