YOUR CHALLENGE

Reporting to the Director of Financial Information, you will play a key role in quarterly disclosures by highlighting key messages from the analysis of financial information in collaboration with the Investor Relations department. Your analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, writing ability, and focus on continuous process optimization will be essential in producing financial disclosure documents that comply with constantly evolving regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing, interpreting, and synthesizing financial results and participating in the drafting of significant explanations for the company's quarterly and annual management reports;
  • Preparing notes related to the quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements;
  • Assessing key performance indicators specific to the renewable energy industry and communicating various progress updates on the company's strategic plan in interim and annual reports;
  • Ensuring compliance with the ongoing obligations of issuers (AMF) regarding public financial documents;
  • Participating in the ESG regulatory transition and developing various analyses for management;
  • Conducting benchmarking with peers to evaluate our approach to industry events and ensuring the adoption of best practices in external disclosure;
  • Collaborating with the Investor Relations department to contribute to the financial section of the CEO and CFO report for the Board of Directors, the press release, the financial review explaining key changes to external financial analysts, and the investor conference;
  • Contributing to various initiatives to optimize and automate the preparation and external disclosure processes, notably through evaluating the role of artificial intelligence and presenting recommendations.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) designation;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, particularly with a public company;
  • Knowledge of IFRS standards and securities law (AMF);
  • Strong analytical skills and good judgment, the ability to simplify, write, and synthesize to explain quarterly and annual highlights;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI / Power Query is an asset, as well as the implementation of AI-driven solutions;
  • Experience in FP&A (an asset);
  • Bilingual: French and English (spoken and written);
  • Rigor, autonomy, attention to detail, flexibility, and creativity;
  • Knowledge of the Longview consolidation software (an asset) and Workiva financial reporting software;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
