POSITION SUMMARY:

The Product Marketing Manager – Pain Management will primarily be responsible for downstream support, with some upstream support of AtriCure’s Cryo Nerve Block products for post-operative pain relief in cardiothoracic procedures. This role must be able to work on cross-functional teams in support of current and new products and in support of new clinical programs to expand the portfolio. This role will also interface with the sales and commercial teams to develop and launch materials/programs to drive awareness and expanded adoption of the therapy. This includes Research and Development, Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Quality Systems, and Regulatory.  

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  • Contribute to overall Pain Management franchise strategy roadmap initiatives and execute on business plans to grow the therapy
  • Strong communicator to develop patient focused Pain Management initiatives and materials
  • Monitor clinical evidence publications to enable the franchise to develop better informed strategies, input into product pipeline, and communicate internally to relevant stakeholders
  • Support REDUCE registry program with presentations, account support, and monitoring of enrollment
  • Attend society conferences in support of Pain Management franchise
  • Establish relationships with key opinion leaders to assist with voice-of-customer activities and deliver needs assessment for future product development activity
  • Support field sales team thru therapy awareness initiatives, rep support, conferences, and case observations
  • Execute on essential marketing support activities, material updates, regulatory reviews, and internal website reference library updates
  • Support Sales Training in onboarding of new reps and in launch training for new products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, biomedical engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years successful sales/marketing or related experience
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, such as engineering teams
  • Builds and nurtures relationships internally and with external customers
  • Analytical and strategic, effective technical writer, and strong moderator/presenter
  • Hands-on and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel 25-35% domestic and internationally

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Medical device experience, especially cardiac surgery or cardiovascular
  • Clinical experience in acute or outpatient setting
  • Experience with international organizations and customers

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as required
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
