Department: Human Resources
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary:
Under general direction, organizes, and manages assigned functional areas of the Human Resources program including electronic onboarding, benefits, training and development, and employee relations. Serves as the liason with employees in all matters to ensure compliance with Company policies, State, and Federal laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Assists with personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.
Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews. Administers and maintains the unemployment responses in compliance with State law.
Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
Secondary Education preferred
Human Resources experience and/or training preferred
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of HRIS platforms. Strong Excel, Power point, and Word skills
