The Team:
The Product Technology group within Product Development is responsible for ensuring Accuris’ products are rapidly deployed and seamlessly operated in the cloud while ensuring developers have access to the tools and technology they need to build great products. Product Technology is comprised of several functions – Application Security & Operations, Developer Experience, Platform Engineering & Technical Architecture. These functions build and maintain the key systems that underpin the SaaS products our customers consume.
The Role:
We are seeking a talented Engineer to join our Developer Enablement team within the Product Technology Group. This role focuses on enabling Product Development teams to deploy and operate their code on scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. You will work alongside the Platform Engineering & Software Engineering teams to deliver solutions that empower developers to build and deploy efficiently.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in cloud and infrastructure engineering, experience working with software development, and a passion for improving developer workflows and productivity. You should be familiar with observability tooling (e.g., New Relic/OpenTelemetry), CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub), Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu & Scalr), and cloud environments such as AWS and Azure. Experience with Kubernetes, application modernization, and hybrid cloud configurations is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
· Close partnership with Product Development teams to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes and ensure best practices are followed.
· Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code in-line with best practices and internal standards.
· Partner with development teams to define and measure SLO/SLIs for applications and services.
· Contribute to the creation of standardized solution blueprints for infrastructure and deployment practices.
· Ensure systems meet appropriate security and compliance benchmarks.
· Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
· Support application modernization efforts, including containerization and migration to cloud-native architectures.
· Work with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and ensure adoption of best practices for security, observability, and infrastructure management.
What We’re Looking For:
· Strong background in cloud and infrastructure engineering/operations.
· Experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments as well as VMware.
· Understanding of cost modelling and optimization of cloud services
· Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitHub, Azure DevOps), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
· Understanding of Software Supply Chains, SAST and SCA and pipeline controls (Synk).
· Real-world experience in software development or close collaboration with developers.
· Familiarity with observability tools like New Relic and OpenTelemetry.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Strong collaboration skills and a passion for improving developer workflows.
· Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (NIST-800, CIS, SOC2)
The Location: Hybrid - Denver, Colorado (i25 & 225)
Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US
candidates):
Accuris states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $160,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan as well as comprehensive benefits.
