Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a highly motivated and intellectually curious contributor to join our team in Annapolis. This is a great opportunity to work with senior leadership across the organization while reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager and collaborating with the FP&A team. The role requires the ability to complete many high priority responsibilities simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. The individual must have a strong sense of personal accountability and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
What you Will Work On
- Prepare financial reports (e.g., income statements, monthly closing reports, and management reporting) according to regulatory requirements.
- Partner with business leaders across Crisis24 to prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and ad hoc projects.
- Compare forecasted versus actual results and identify variance drivers.
- Support ongoing assessment of financial performance, risks, and opportunities and support timely and proactive recommendations.
- Develop complex financial models and business cases to support functional business leaders with key business decisions
- Have an ability to analyze large amounts of raw data and then repackage, simplify, and determine key takeaways from the results
- Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
What You Will Bring
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Experience working in Salesforce a plus.
- Financial system knowledge (experience with NetSuite a plus).
- Planful/Host Analytics or similar reporting and planning software experience.
- Accountable, flexible, and professional demeanor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of internal controls over financial statements.
