As the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Lead, you will oversee and lead the GSOC team to deliver unparalleled security services, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to the highest industry standards. This role requires a strategic vision and a commitment to continuous improvement, focusing on quality assurance, client relationship management, strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and team leadership.

 Key Responsibilities:

  1. GSOC Leadership and Team Development: Lead, inspire, and manage a team of highly skilled security professionals. Promote a culture of excellence, discipline, innovation, and continuous learning. Mentor and develop staff to ensure they meet the highest standards in security operations.
  2. Strategic Vision and Operational Oversight: Work with stakeholders to day-to-day operational conditions & execute the GSOC’s evolving strategic vision, aligning it with the company’s global security strategy. Ensure seamless 24/7 operations focused on threat detection, risk assessment, and incident response, maintaining the highest level of readiness.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring all communications are professional and addressing any concerns promptly to ensure resolution is satisfactory.
  4. Project Management: The GSOC Lead must manage assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the
    client's and Crisis24's satisfaction. They must also provide regular project updates to the client and Crisis24's management team.
  5. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Oversee the quality of work performed by the team, conducting regular audits and providing feedback to enhance performance. Continuously evaluate and improve GSOC processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Security Protocols and Crisis Management: Establish and enforce stringent security protocols and develop comprehensive crisis management plans. Lead the team in managing critical incidents effectively to minimize impact.
  7. Technology and Security Program Development: Stay informed on security technology & best practices and make benchmarking & optimization recommendations to our client to assist in meeting or exceeding industry standards for safety & readiness.
  8. Risk Analysis and Global Coordination: Assist in conducting & coordinating OSINT, research requests, and event/risk assessments to increase the client’s awareness on threats & safety concerns.
  9. Procedural Updates and Personnel Issues: Review and implement procedural updates based on team feedback. Address and support personnel issues, maintaining privacy and providing guidance to enhance work performance. They must also provide feedback to the Crisis24 Regional Director & Director level leadership for HR escalations and ensure that employee privacy is maintained.
  10. Reporting and Communication: Provide detailed reports to senior management and clients with insights, metrics, and recommendations to enhance security measures. Ensure effective communication channels are maintained.
  11. Payroll: Input & triage weekly pay & monthly expense report information, ensuring all payroll transactions are accurate with the live schedule. Escalate & help resolve any identified payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  12. Scheduling & Coverage: The GSOC Lead must master navigating Crisis24 administratively, triaging requests to the appropriate stakeholder to support employee needs. The GSOC Lead must make arrangements to find coverage for employees who fall ill on shift or report when normal staffing for any role is absent. They must also communicate with Crisis24 and client management as appropriate on schedule changes.

Required and Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Either bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience
  • Have an interest or direct experience in the following: Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Critical Incident Management, Corporate Security, Crisis Management, or Emergency Response
  • 3+ years of experience as a GSOC operator or working with incident management technology and OSINT monitoring
  • 2+ years of experience as a people leader / manager
  • Must be well-versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologies
  • Must be a competent user of Microsoft Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other similar tools  
  • Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations
  • Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Successful client management experience
  • A demonstrated history of effective conflict resolution skills
  • Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
  • Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours
  • Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts both days and nights
  • Experience using OSINT tools such as Everbridge, Liferaft, Factal, ISOS etc.
