We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Embedded Security Director to lead and manage the security program for our client in Atlanta, GA. This hybrid role combines both administrative and operational responsibilities, serving as the crucial link between the Residential Security and Executive Protection Teams and the client. As the main point of contact, the Embedded Security Director will ensure that resources and outcomes align with the service delivery objectives. Occasional travel is required. 

 

Key Responsibilities:   

- Provide strategic direction, vision, and oversight for the Residential Security and Executive Protection Team. 

- Foster continuous innovation to enhance all aspects of service delivery. 

- Lead, manage, and supervise all personnel servicing the principal and/or client. 

- Develop and regularly update security-related policies and procedures. 

- Execute contingency planning and develop courses of action for various scenarios. 

- Ensure all training requirements for agents and teams are met; identify new training opportunities. 

- Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and credential requirements in key operational areas. 

- Manage administrative duties including record-keeping, data management, and reporting. 

- Handle timecard management, expense reports, and resource allocation. 

- Oversee billing and invoicing processes. 

- Conduct performance evaluations, including drafting corrective action plans and managing terminations when necessary. 

- Supervise and mentor new employees during their probationary periods. 

- Develop job descriptions and manage the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff. 

- Provide discreet and covert protection services when necessary. 

- Operate security vehicles safely and legally. 

- Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information related to principals, protection methods, and company data. 

- Demonstrate flexibility and maintain consistent attendance in all aspects of the role. 

 

Qualifications:   

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in residential security and executive protection, ideally in a corporate or family office close protection environment. 

- At least 10+ years in a leadership or management role. 

- Expertise in residential security, executive protection, and covert protection strategies. 

- Experience working with high-net-worth families and children is highly desirable. 

- Prior military or law enforcement experience is highly desirable. 

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. 

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

- Proficient with a wide range of technology and software, including Apple iOS, MacOS, Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Zoom, Slack, and project management tools (e.g., Asana). 

- Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of attentiveness and energy. 

- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, often on short notice, and to various client sites as needed. 

- TCCC/First Responder skills or an active Paramedic/EMT license/certification is a plus. 

- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 

- CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required. 

- Must hold a valid and current driver's license. 

- Must possess a valid U.S. Passport. 

- Must hold valid state Guard Card and necessary licenses to work in an armed capacity. 

 

Salary and Benefits:  

- Annual Salary: $130,000-$150,000, depending on experience. 

- Benefits:   

  - Premier medical/dental/vision coverage.   

  - $500,000 life insurance and AD&D.   

  - Eligibility for a company 401k plan.
