What will you do?
Leads a team that provides community-based employment services to assist individuals who are deaf & hard of hearing in obtaining and maintaining competitive employment. Provides leadership and professional development to team members, ensures the delivery of outstanding and highly responsive internal and external participants service with a high degree of flexibility and creativity. Ensures the smooth operation of Career Pathway Connection services ensuring a person-centered approach that enhances the fundamental employment skill set for program participants.
Essential Functions:
- Travel to CPC locations on a weekly basis.
- Flexible work schedule includes nights, evening, weekends, and/or holidays to accommodate schedules.
- Communicates effectively with diverse populations.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively supervises, develops, and provides a supportive and engaging work environment for the CPC team.
- Monitors/Oversees the admission and discharge process; ensures records are accurately maintained to maximize operating efficiency.
- Achieves high level of participant and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Monitors the referral and intake process for new participants.
- Ensures delivery of high-quality services, utilization, outcome, and financial sustainability.
- Reviews service delivery and ensures that documentation meets regulatory requirements.
- Maintains caseloads and waitlists and reports changes to Director of Community Employment.
- Collaborates with internal /external stakeholders to ensure employment opportunities assist participants in reaching their potential.
- Networks/Cultivates relationships with State agencies and community locations to promote and expand CPC.
- Assists in implementing the program’s strategic goals and development of staff.
- Acts as liaison for ENJ for all internal & external stakeholders, including but not limited to regulatory audits, and state-required meetings.
- Attends and represents Easterseals at State agency meetings.
- Implements procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
- Partners with state agencies and providers to increase employment opportunities for participants.
- Ensures vehicles and equipment are maintained and in proper working order.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required plus three years of related supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of employment services for people with disabilities
- Ability to train individuals with disabilities on a one-to-one basis using a variety of techniques.
- Understands the needs of the business community and Knowledgeable in job performance assessments.
- Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to learn new software programs – knowledge working with MS Office.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Excellent, problem solving, planning and organization skills.
- Knowledge of disability civil rights legislation and law, including the ADA and acceptable hiring practices, and accommodations.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
Full Time Monday – Friday
