What will you do?

The CFO is a strategic leader responsible for driving financial success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This hands-on role oversees financial operations, including strategy development, budgeting, compliance, and performance optimization, while ensuring fiscal stability.

A key advisor to the COO and Board, the CFO leads growth initiatives and mentors the Finance team to foster a high-performance culture. This role demands adaptability, technical expertise, and a business-oriented mindset to balance strategic goals with day-to-day operations effectively.

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that align with organizational goals and adapt to a rapidly evolving business landscape.
  • Provide strategic input on growth initiatives to drive the organization’s financial success.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the COO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership on financial opportunities, risks, and trends.

Operational Financial Management

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and auditing processes, ensuring financial stability and resilience.
  • Manage cash flow and optimize financial performance while maintaining alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing innovative financial systems and processes.

Technical Excellence & Compliance

  • Ensure rigorous compliance with GAAP, regulatory standards, and local, state, and federal tax requirements.
  • Develop and implement advanced risk management and forecasting methodologies to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Prepare and present timely, detailed financial reports and analyses to support strategic decisions.

Adaptability & Hands-On Leadership

  • Operate effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment, balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day financial operations.
  • Foster a flexible, hands-on approach to problem-solving and leadership, addressing challenges proactively and collaboratively.
  • Serve as a mentor to the Finance and Accounting team, driving professional development and cultivating a high-performance culture.

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify opportunities for growth and expansion, including partnership development and capital investments.
  • Guide the financial due diligence process during mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and long-term success.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; M.B.A. or CPA strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Experience: Strong technical expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and compliance, with a proven ability to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced environments while effectively managing competing priorities.
  • Attributes: Business-oriented mindset with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on growth opportunities, combined with a hands-on leadership style and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Office skills.

 

Full Time Monday - Friday
