Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Technical Delivery team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sponsors/Customers, Clinical, Global Project Management, and Data Management, to design and implement solutions for clinical trials utilizing Signant Health’s product portfolio. Your expertise will ensure that our solutions align with study protocols, adhere to best practices, and meet both client expectations and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Protocol Analysis: Review and interpret clinical study protocols to gather design requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and sponsors to understand project scopes and expectations.
  • Solution Design: Develop and present design options, providing recommendations and alternatives to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify design risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Lead design discussions in internal and external meetings to confirm requirements and gather additional business needs.
  • Documentation: Create user stories and collaborate with the Global Technical Delivery team to implement solutions.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure that all designs adhere to company standards and best practices.
  • Configuration Management: Oversee application configuration as needed.
  • Validation Support: Facilitate the review and approval of test results and all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and validation documents.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Technology Science, Life Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: As a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within clinical research.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in requirement elicitation and documentation; experience with Jira is preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on resolving conflicts and balancing competing goals.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions and present solutions effectively.
  • Leadership: Ability to guide junior staff and influence functional strategy.
  • Self-Motivation: Proactive, positive team player with a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in software development.
  • Background in user experience/interface design.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries. #LI-AS1
