What You’ll Do

As our Proposal Lead, you’ll be the cornerstone of our proposal creation process, working as part of our Commercial Team to ensure our clients receive tailored, strategic, and compelling solutions tailored to their unique trial’s needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting winning proposals: Develop detailed proposals, budgets, and content that reflect Signant Health’s comprehensive suite of services and products.
  • Create change order budget quotations: Support ongoing projects through study lifecycle by partnering with Signant Health Project Teams and creating quotations for scope adjustments to ongoing studies, including reconciliation of contracted vs actual work and invoicing status. Collaborating with experts: Partner with Sales, Operations, Scientific and Technical Solution teams to scope projects and finalize proposals that meet client needs.
  • Building client trust: Participate in client calls to discuss scope and customer expectations, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
  • Ensuring seamless transitions: Ensure detailed record keeping and notations within proposals, scopes and budgets to support a smooth transition between Sales, Commercial Operations, and Operations teams.
  • Driving consistency: Utilize client-specific templates and a centralized repository of proposal strategies, pricing insights, and lessons learned.
  • Leveraging critical thinking: Identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions to enhance proposal development processes.
  • Championing data integrity: Keep Salesforce and internal systems updated with accurate budget and opportunity details.
  • Strengthening partnerships: Build strong relationships across departments to promote collaboration and alignment. Provide consultative support to Sales and Project Management colleagues to ensure they are apprised of key budgetary and scope items and partner to recommend options to satisfy the customer’s needs.

 

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Moderate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to utilize Excel formulas with multiple conditions and manage complex data efficiently.
  • Proven adaptability in dynamic environments and a demonstrated ability to pivot and problem-solve effectively.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude, with a knack for collaboration and supporting colleagues toward shared goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a Scientific field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in pricing and proposal development, working independently and driving results.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in cross-functional teams and build lasting relationships.
  • Life Sciences industry experience is a plus, but a passion for making an impact is essential.
