Responsibilities & Expectations
- Be responsible for the physical security of the client, family, and personal property.
- Demonstrate fundamental EP core skills, to include covert coverage, advance documentation and planning, vulnerability assessments, close protection, and safe driving.
- Must be able to make quick, effective decisions in austere and rapidly changing environments
- Incorporate the client’s core values and code of conduct in all decisions and actions.
- Be responsible for making real-time operational decisions that enhance safety for the client and immediate family members.
- Demonstrate effective communication with the client, the family, and other team members.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Promote and establish effective working relationships with the client and the Detail Leader to quickly resolve operational issues without affecting the client’s quality of life.
- Be able to operate effectively in a dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience in Executive Protection, ERT, PSD, or RST.
- A valid LEOSA permit, Concealed Carry Weapons permit, Exposed Firearm Permit, Guard Card, and/or CPR certification.
- Participation in random drug screenings.
- Team members must always maintain physical readiness to respond to an attack or hazard.
- Candidate must have exceptional attention to detail, be able to complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner, and comprehend implied tasks for mission success.
- Professional and friendly communicator with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence (prior experience in client-facing roles preferred).
- Candidate must be able to articulate all actions and decisions taken during protective operations
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Prior military, law enforcement experience providing physical security, emergency response, surveillance detection, secure transportation preferred.
- Prior training in incident response, emergency medicine, etc.
- Must be able to make excellent decisions in the absence of direct senior leadership
- High level medical training (EMT-B and above) a plus
- Candidate must be flexible and available to accommodate last-minute global travel and rapidly changing schedules
