Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate exudes passion about security, safety, technology, and investigating online threats using open-source intelligence tools and research techniques. This candidate should be within reasonable commuting distance of our work location in Chandler, Arizona. Ideal skills include customer service, strong communication, writing, critical thinking, and analytical ability, and an understanding of basic risk management principles. The candidate should be able to thrive in an environment with shifting priorities, projects, and expectations in an evolving security program. The candidate must understand and adhere to discretion and confidentiality, applying it to their everyday job tasks while assessing & communicating sensitive topics & risks in a reasonable manner. The candidate must operate with integrity in every facet of their job role. Ideal past job experiences that would prepare you for this role would be alarm/camera operators, intelligence analysts, emergency dispatchers, or a combination of these.
What You Will Work On
- Provide executive, emergency and non-emergency security system monitoring, including notifications to client travelers, security command centers, site managers, and security stakeholders.
- Analyze information using multiple external sources to identify and prevent potential threats or risks affecting company assets.
- Convert “raw intelligence” and unvetted online research into short and concise incident summaries and communicate risks to management using proper format, grammar, and spelling.
- Conduct social media research to identify threats against our client’s people, property, assets, and brand/reputation.
- Collect and evaluate a wide range of intelligence and determine what is important to monitor and respond to, applying judgment and discretion with detailed procedures and response thresholds to guide you.
- Provide feedback on and contribute to procedures and processes to standardize and enhance risk management for the team.
- Work closely with various onsite, offsite, internal, and external security teams for the larger benefit of the security function.
- Process and maintain a wide variety of trackers, files, logs, reports, and forms.
Who You Will Work With
In your role as an analyst, you will work directly with a team of fellow analysts & intelligence professionals in person who operate 24/7 to research, assess, and report on physical risks & social media threats to travelers, executives, and work locations to increase the situational awareness of our clients. You will collaborate & conduct information sharing with cross-functional tactical & strategic intelligence analysts, risk managers, and operational dispatchers to help achieve their objectives for the larger corporate security program.
What You Will Bring
- Demonstrates passion & interest for all aspects of this intelligence focused role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent military or work experience is also acceptable and encouraged.
- Operate in a position of trust with integrity, adhering to Crisis24 policies, standards and dress code while working independently.
- Have an interest and/or direct experience in the following: Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Social Media Analysis, Current Events & Politics, Critical Incident Management or Corporate Security.
- Must be well-versed in current technologies and open-source information search methodologies.
- Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be a competent user of Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OnDrive. PowerBI knowledge is also beneficial but not required.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
- Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Maintain composure and strong customer service while dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff
- Ability to attend training and career development meetings & events that fall outside normal work hours periodically.
- Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts both days and nights, including weekends and holidays.
