Assistant Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager
Who We Are Looking For
The Assistant Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager directly supervises key elements of the SOC on behalf of the SOC Project Manager. The Assistant SOC Manager will oversee all phases of technical tools and processes used in the SOC, including procurement (input), implementation, and development of SOPs, as well as training, testing, and quality assurance. The Assistant SOC Manager will be the SOC’s direct interface with internal stakeholders (including but not limited to all units of GCS, and all units of IT (Telephony, Network Operations). The Assistant SOC Manager may serve as the “acting” PM in the PM’s absence and/or if the PM cannot be reached. The Assistant SOC Manager will generally work a schedule that comports with the standard WB working hours but will also work a flexible schedule (to maintain in-depth knowledge of SOC operation and to complete required duties and responsibilities). Assistant SOC Manager is also subject to emergency “call-ins” to assist in emergencies and/or serve as an Operator as needed.
What You Will Work On
- Develop and manage processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operational continuity of service delivery, particularly those that have technical dependencies.
- Serve as the SOC point of contact for all security and fire life safety systems and liaise with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure streamlined protocols and SOPs for the SOC.
- Serve as a point of contact for all technologies used in the SOC. Ensure effective and efficient use by SOC personnel.
- Manages the development, administration, and record-keeping of training for new and existing SOC personnel.
- Serve as the “acting” PM in the PM’s absence and/or if the PM cannot be reached.
- Respond to “call-ins” to assist in emergencies and/or serve as an Operator as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Wil Bring
- A graduate-level degree or equivalent experience in management, security/emergency management, criminal justice/criminology, security policy studies, or a related field is required. Relevant professional technical certifications will also be an important consideration.
- Must have three (3) years of related experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience in the technical and analytical aspects of watch operations.
- Must have strong experience in managing security operations and the ability to supervise operations personnel.
- Knowledge of security, security, and fire life safety systems, analysis, operational continuity, and crisis management required.
- Must have previous project management, security operations, and training experience.
- Ability to manage QA
