Government Contract Specialist
Who We Are Looking For
The Government Contract Specialist is responsible for tracking and managing all contract purchasing vehicles and compliance requirements in support of bidding government business. The Government Contract Specialist will also support Crisis24 by bids to ensure that they meet all requirements outlined in the original request for proposal (RFP). Finally, the Government Contract Specialist will be the internal lead and expert on maintaining Crisis24’s approval and active status on all required government contract purchasing vehicles via regular audit and compliance submissions.
This position is a hybrid in-office/remote role in Annapolis, MD or Atlanta, GA
What You Will Work On
- Manage and execute the application and admission process to ensure OnSolve is available on all necessary government procurement contract vehicles at the Federal and State levels.
- Coordinate with Sales, Strategic Deal Desk, and Billing to ensure pricing complies with contract vehicle specifications.
- Oversee and execute all audit, reporting, renewal, and compliance requirements at required intervals to remain active and in good standing on all government contract purchasing vehicles.
- Responsible for creating a process and maintaining accurate data on all government contract purchasing vehicles in Salesforce.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting all fees due under each government contract purchasing vehicles.
- Support the Proposal Development team by finding opportunities under government contract purchasing vehicles for OnSolve’s response or to increase business with existing customers.
- Support Sales as the subject matter expert on the requirements to make a sale under each government contract purchasing vehicle.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Developing and implementing contract administration procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Reviewing and analyzing existing contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
- Review bids received from contractors to determine whether they meet the requirements of the government agency requesting the bid.
- Utilize appropriate internal technology to ensure proactive project management and execution.
- Reviewing and understanding the details of contracts governing customer accounts including the ability to identify discrepancies and inaccuracies that are more complex in nature.
- Updating and maintaining customer records and internal data.
- Communicating details of contracts to sales teams and client support teams.
- Auditing internal systems for accuracy.
- Understanding details of OnSolve products.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of direct experience supporting or managing the government contract purchasing vehicle process, including audit and compliance.
- Experience with contracting and compliance via the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA).
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong time management and organization skills.
- Strong and clear written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to manage projects from beginning to end, including monitoring deadlines and managing inputs from cross-functional groups.
- Must have knowledge/proficiency with Salesforce.com.
- Proficient in MS Office products (Outlook, Word Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Experience in contract law or procurement/purchasing
