We highly prefer if you live in Noida (India) because you will need to be in the office. 

 

This position will facilitate HR initiatives and support business strategies by focusing on the following:

 

  • Partnering with Department leaders to determine recruitment needs and staffing objectives.
  • Developing recruitment programs to attract, identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Onboarding new hires so that they are quickly introduced to and engaged with GLI and our culture.
  • Helping management proactively identify and resolve issues in employee relations, coaching managers on performance management, as needed.
  • Ensuring successful implementation of key HR programs and launching new HR initiatives that support the culture for the location.
  • Recommending improvements to HR policies, training programs, wellness programs, etc.
  • Provides guidance, support, and consultation to both leadership and employees.
  • Ensuring all HR administrative tasks are complete and compliant to regional and federal requirements, including payroll administration

Experience, Education, Skills and Credentials:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position is required, including prior experience with recruiting, employee relations and working on HR projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel and Word, are required.
  • Prior HR system experience is required.
  • Must have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English and Hindi sufficiently to perform the duties of this position; ability to speak, read and write Tamil is a plus.
  • Must have demonstrated professionalism, including while working under pressure.
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 10% to visit other GLI offices including our office in Pondicherry.
