Role Overview:

 

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for identifying, designing, and executing various test cases, including functional, exploratory, regression, and integration testing. Your role involves documenting and tracking defects, maintaining test case traceability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive issue resolution.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Test Case Management: Recognize the needs and design, review, and execute functional, exploratory, regression, and integration test cases.
  • Defect Management: Identify bugs timely, document, track, and manage defects using JIRA and Confluence.
  • Testing Activities: Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Traceability: Establish and maintain traceability of requirements through test cases to enhance test coverage.
  • Issue Resolution: Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to identify and resolve root causes.
  • Automation Scripting: Contribute to automation scripting as per project requirements.
  • Performance Testing: Participate in performance testing according to project demands.
  • Database Testing: Work on database queries to perform back-end testing and performance evaluations.
  • Azure Application Management: Handle Azure applications, including app deployment and automation tasks.

 

 

About you:

 

  • Experience: 2-5 years in web application testing, API testing, database, and integration testing.
  • Performance Testing: Proficient in performance testing using JMeter.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Git, BitBucket, SQL, Postman, Swagger API documentation, and familiar with various testing tools and methodologies.
  • Defect Management: Knowledge of defect management and bug reporting tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Agile/Scrum: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Azure Cloud: Experience with Azure cloud API, Function apps, App services, and PowerShell scripting for automation.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Proficient in build deployment and setting up CI/CD pipelines for Azure cloud environments.
  • Automation Testing: At least 1 year of experience in web/API automation testing with any automation tool.
  • Debugging: Ability to debug automation test cases.
  • Feedback: Skilled in reviewing needs, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
