Role Overview:

 

Are you ready to kickstart your career in finance with an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Collections Analyst for a short-term contract position with Eptura. As a Collections Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Eptura’s accounts receivable process. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure timely payments and minimize delinquencies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in finance and gain valuable experience in credit and collections.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Partner with Clients and Internal Departments: Resolve all queries ensuring customer satisfaction and the earliest possible payment.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities and customer interactions.
  • Analyze Customer Accounts: Identify delinquent payments and potential collections issues.
  • Contact Customers: Reach out via phone, email, or written correspondence to address payment discrepancies and resolve outstanding balances.
  • Negotiate Payment Arrangements: Ensure timely collections of outstanding debts.
  • Provide Ad-Hoc Reporting: Generate reports as requested by management.
  • Undertake Account Reconciliation: Perform account reconciliation as required.
  • Maintain Customer Self-Service Portals: Ensure customer portals are up-to-date.
  • Handle Other Ad Hoc Revenue Duties: Assist with additional revenue-related tasks as needed.

 

About you:

 

  • Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in English; comfortable interacting at all levels and with all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-Starter: Able to work independently, creatively, and conscientiously.
  • Upbeat and Personable: Willing to contribute ideas and work with an international team.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting is a plus.
