Who We Are Looking For
Under the general direction of the Embedded Intelligence Services (EIS) division and the Intelligence Manager, the embedded Intelligence Analyst I will support a multinational company's travel risk management program.
Location: On site: Cincinnati, Ohio
What You Will Work On
- Recognize and respond to crisis situations and initiate proactive action using independent judgment and professional training aligned with client standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Track and respond to travel reservations to high-risk destinations.
- Track and respond to Crisis24’s alerts and world events for client impact on travelers, assets, and operations.
- Conduct employee and traveler safety check-ins.
- Escalate intelligence and impact information to appropriate client stakeholders.
- Using Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), produces succinct written and oral assessments that include beneficial analysis.
- Understand the client's footprint and interests to anticipate client needs.
- Support and develop client solutions, processes, and protocols.
- Proactively leverage existing Crisis24 resources to address gaps in analyses, assessments, capabilities, and data.
- Assist in producing specific briefings, presentations, communication documents, or policies.
- Maintain client metrics and produce regular reports.
- Suggest potential improvements to the program and SOPs to the EIS Manager.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of the dedicated client program.
What You Will Bring
- 0-2 years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, incident response, security operations, or a related field required
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred
- Ability to adhere to timelines and deadlines with effective time management skills
- Effective problem-solving and multi-tasking skills. Ability to take initiative, organize and prioritize work with little supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required; accurate typing skills that require minimal editorial oversight
- Strong customer service skills, especially in person; ability to communicate across varying professional levels
- Intelligence gathering, analysis, and threat assessment experience
- Excellent research, writing, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent analytic skills, including familiarity with analytic techniques.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Google Earth and Maps.
- Interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive professional rapport with other analysts and SMEs as well as client contacts
