Who We Are Looking For

 

Primary responsibilities for Software Trainer I include training end users and internal employees on Crisis24 products. The Software Trainer will be responsible for planning and delivering course material for implementation training and webinars. The ideal candidate would also have experience with adult learning theories, instructional design, documentation strategies, and e-learning course design. The instructional trainer would be responsible for delivering hands-on training either online or onsite (small % travel possible) to our customers, as well as work with a team of trainers and content creators whose mission is to educate internal and external audiences about Crisis24 software products.

 

What You Will Work On

 

  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of all Crisis24 software platforms’ features and offerings.
  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of the industry and best practices that can/should be incorporated into the functionality training goals.
  • Train end users and employees.
    • Full Administrator train-the-trainer sessions
    • Permission-level specific training
    • Feature-specific training
    • Best Practices sessions
    • Refresher trainings
        • Trainings are primarily web-based; however, on-site training may be necessary.  (Travel is infrequent and is expected to be 5% or less.)
  • Manage vendor training products utilized by Crisis24 for internal employee training.
  • Develop training materials, including but not limited to: training webinar PowerPoint decks, reference materials, and FAQ’s. 
  • Demonstrate a high degree of skill in written and verbal communication, as well as a positive attitude in interactions with all employees, prospective employees, external agencies/companies, and the community at large.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What You Will Bring

 

  • Three (3) years of software training experience.
  • Experience training within a highly technical environment.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability in acquiring knowledge to trouble shoot issues in a software training or similar environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in written and oral communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team environment.
  • Knowledgeable with software programs such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Willingness/ability to travel to various locations when required.
