Who We Are Looking For 

 

The Senior Analyst will perform essential security monitoring and threat mitigation functions for our customers with employees and offices worldwide. The Security Analyst performs tactical-level threat intelligence functions, including collecting intelligence information and tracking physical threat activities that directly or indirectly affect employees, facilities, and interests globally. 

 

What You Will Work On

  • Participate in security incident response daily, identifying and triaging potential impacts on employees and assets 
  • Compose and track incidents to resolution; inform internal stakeholders in verbal or written updates via internal communication platforms (ex. SLACK and Gmail)
  • Triage and escalate cases of workplace violence to relevant employee relations
  • Perform special projects and research as required by GOC management or as conditions warrant

The analyst will work in the GSOC located at the client’s office in Los Angeles, CA. The analyst is expected to work 6:00pm – 6:00am Monday - Thursday to meet the needs of the client. 

 

The Senior Analyst will assess alerts and incidents for client impact, assist in producing specific briefings or presentations, manage emergency incidents using judgment and skills in accordance with commonly accepted incident management best practices and client policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the program. 

 

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; and advanced degrees and industry certifications preferred  
  • At least 3+ years of intelligence, security and incident management experience 
  • Knowledge of security technologies, threat intelligence, and best practices in the industry. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in high-pressure situations. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for security management and incident reporting.  
  • A commitment found upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in the security industry.
  • Ability to take initiative and multitask under pressure.
  • Ability to intake, evaluate, and sift large quantities of information. 
  • Effective problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of world news and current events.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required, including accurate typing skills. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Google Earth and Maps or other Geographic Information System platforms.
  • Strong customer-service skills, especially in person and over the phone; ability to communicate across varying professional levels.
  • Work conditions: office setting and machine use. Shiftwork. Sitting, standing, walking, hearing, speaking, reading, writing.
  • Flexible hours and workdays are required to meet Crisis24 core 24/7 mission.
  • Required to commute to client’s site for shiftwork.
  • Candidates will be asked to pass a background check as well as writing and technology aptitude screenings as a condition of employment.
