The Position:

Eclipse Automation is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to lead and coordinate our Mechanical Engineering department. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, the Supervisor will drive project success by implementing strategies to enhance team capabilities, ensure high-quality outcomes, and foster a positive and innovative work environment.

In this critical leadership role, the successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to oversee resource strategies, improve processes, and deliver on project goals, all while supporting Eclipse’s vision and culture.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and mentor mechanical engineering team members, ensuring alignment with Eclipse’s quality, safety, and reliability standards.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and professional development programs for team members and co-op students.
  • Collaborate with Talent Development to implement initiatives and monitor resource progress.
  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring scope, budget, and schedule targets are achieved.
  • Manage performance reviews, team development strategies, and departmental operations in partnership with the Mechanical Engineering Manager.
  • Support Eclipse’s continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing policies, processes, and programming standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in the custom automation industry or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and uphold ethical standards.
