Job Purpose
The Creative Services Manager is responsible for the design and production of marketing and sales materials that adhere to our corporate brand standards while providing creative strategic insights within cross-functional project teams. The right candidate will be an individual contributor as well as an ambassador of the brand that can help establish best practices across the organization. We are looking for someone that is technical and knows which tool to use for each job and how to follow and create processes that allow them to work smarter. You should have a strong background in digital design: motion graphics and video knowledge is huge, HTML & web experience is helpful, PowerPoint is just a fact of life. Ultimately, we want someone that can create compelling stories around our technologies and brand, then extrapolate that vision consistently across various communication channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and production of branded visual concepts and final materials for emails, website(s), trade shows/events, ebooks, publications, sales materials, presentations, videos, advertising, social media, and promotional materials. Probably more, but definitely not less.
- Develop, document, and apply visual identity & company brand and standards.
- Provides a strategic approach to designs that align with business goals and objectives.
- Work with global team members, management, and other departments to deliver against defined project SLAs and balanced workload sharing across the creative team.
- Ability to work with fellow employees, partners and agencies located all around the world. This would include working with translated content as well as the ability to adjust creative according to regional demographics and target audiences. Having prior international collaboration experience a big plus.
- Manages projects from start to completion and helps coordinate creative projects with agencies and partners as required.
- Accomplishes individual development plans and objectives while continually learning new software/tools, project management techniques, and relationship-building skills.
- Resolve operational challenges by identifying process improvements, new tools, and/or alternative workflows.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience with creative design, development, and best practices in a business environment.
- Experience providing significant team leadership on projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Visual Design or related creative field.
- Solid understanding of corporate branding, and how it influences design plus experience maintaining brand standards and producing work aligned to those standards.
- Strong creative experience in both traditional and digital design; a wide range of creative and technical skills is required with appropriate portfolio examples.
- Extensive campaign experience taking concepts and applying across various communication channels and formats.
- Experience presenting concepts and design strategy to stakeholders and business partners.
- Professional communication style and diplomacy when working with business partners, project owners and other team members.
- Should possess a keen attention to detail, troubleshooting skills and be a serious time-manager.
- Must be proficient in core Adobe Creative applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; prefer additional experience with After Effects, Animate, Premiere.
- Should have a working knowledge of production workflow management software platforms, Asana is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of video production and motion graphic techniques desirable
