Analyst Relations Director

 

Job Purpose

The Analyst Relations Director will report directly to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications to manage communication channels to help increase reach, engagement and sentiment for the corporate brand by leveraging B2B relevant social media platforms as well as B2B reference management sites and sales tools.
 

Key Responsibilities

This multi-faceted role resides within the brand and corporate marketing department, managing the following areas:

Manage the global Analyst Relations (AR) program.  
The successful candidate must have a firm grasp of the analyst industry and its unique concerns as it pertains to the IT enablement of businesses, as well as the ability to be an effective influencer to the entire relevant analyst community.  This position requires 7+ years of experience working in or with leading analyst consulting organization at senior levels, including Forrester, Gartner, IDC etc.   The analyst and influencer relations manager will craft a cohesive analyst outreach and nurture strategy and program ensuring the optimum level of company interaction across all relevant coverage areas in horizontal and vertical markets.   He or she will:

  • Track, review, summarize and distribute relevant research reports and ensure inclusion and optimum coverage for Kofax. 
  • Drive an aggressive program to both maintain positive coverage in areas such as Intelligent Automation, AP Automation, Device and print management, Intelligent Document processing, intelligent capture, , eSignature, , as well as identify new areas of inclusion for Kofax’s Intelligent Automation Platform. 
  • Track key industry trends and advise on areas of concern or interest.   Daily analyst interaction contact will be a combination of face to face, email and on the phone. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle and coordinate requests for research participation; schedule briefings with proper Enterprise software SME.
  • Track/manage publish a calendar for key analyst publications such as Gartner MQ and Forrester Wave reports relevant to our business
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, strategy product strategy, finance, and other cross functional teams to complete responses, build presentations, conduct demos, etc.
  • Arrange and participate in briefings, track activity and ensure appropriate follow up is conducted in a timely basis.
  • Support internal requests from product marketing, field marketing strategy and other teams for competitive intelligence, or research reports
  • Identify and build relationships with B2B analyst influencers and decision-makers through B2B social platform tracking and collaborate with the Influencer Relations Team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required. 
  • Public Relations/Communications Agency experience a plus.
  • 7+ years' experience in B2B analyst and influencer relations management.
  • 7+ years’ of B2B agency and/or client-side enterprise software industry experience.
  • Can execute initiatives across customer relations platforms and all social media platforms.
  • Experience working in diversified, cross-functional teams to achieve common purpose.
  • Experience and understanding of multiple functions across the marketing and communications function.
  • Experience in the Intelligent Automation and/or business process automation space a plus.

  • Manage B2B analyst and influencer interactions across across analyst firms Gartner, Forrester Research, IDC, etc in addition to social platforms including LinkedIn and Twitter, etc. Miscellaneous research and special projects

Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Experience with Gartner, Forrester Research, IDC research sites facilitating research searches and inquiry/briefing management.
  • Strong experience and skills interacting and mediating with B2B influencers across media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn, Quora & Reddit.
  • Strong verbal communications and writing skills
  • Ability to multitask multiple and competing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset with ability to anticipates problems and presents creative solutions.
  • Sense of urgency and drive for results.
  • Service orientation and collaborative approach to getting work done.
  • Ability to work within a global team strategically and tactically understanding cultural differences.
  • International experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English – other languages of interest.
