Role Overview: 

Join Eptura as the Director of Solutions Engineering International, based in London, where you will oversee and manage our solutions engineering teams in the EMEA and APAC regions. As a key leader, you will drive the functional and technical sales process, ensuring our solutions align with the needs of prospects through discovery, requirements gathering, validation, product presentations, and demonstrations. 

  

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to Sales Leadership, Account Executives, and Channel Partners, leading a diverse, high-performing team. You will also innovate our demo environments, integrate the latest industry trends, and develop insights for broader marketing and internal training purposes. If you have a strong technical background, a sense of curiosity, and extensive experience in solution selling, this role is for you. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a strategy for the Solutions Engineering team in EMEA and APAC, aligning with company goals. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in solutions engineering practices and processes. Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse, high-performing team of solutions engineers. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Thought Leadership: Serve as a thought leader, driving the development of innovative narratives and demo environments. Integrate the latest industry trends and competitive insights into the team’s practices and training programs.
  • Sales Support: Act as a trusted advisor to Account Executives and Channel Partners, providing strategic guidance and support throughout the sales process. Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling product presentations and demonstrations tailored to the needs of prospects.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with key clients and prospects to understand their business needs and challenges. Ensure the delivery of customized solutions that demonstrate the value of Eptura’s products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives. Provide feedback and insights to influence product development and marketing strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of the Solutions Engineering team. Implement data-driven strategies to optimize team performance and achieve business goals.
  • Regional Operations: Manage the operational aspects of the EMEA and APAC teams, including resource allocation, budget management, and process standardization. Ensure compliance with regional regulations and adapt strategies to meet the unique needs of different markets.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Promote a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and methodologies. Share best practices and success stories across the EMEA and APAC teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Client Success and Retention: Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.

 

About you: 

  • Experience: 10+ years in solution engineering, pre-sales, or a related field within a SaaS environment and 5+ years proven track record in a leadership role, overseeing regional teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in Corporate Real Estate, Facility Management, or the Service Provider industry is highly desirable.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with a deep understanding of software solutions and architecture.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in solution selling and the ability to articulate value propositions to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in leading deal strategies and identifying new business opportunities and the ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with business objectives.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Client Relationship: Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Innovative Mindset: Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
